Rebrandly Named to VOOM 2016 Semifinals!
June 7th, 2016 – Virgin Media Business has announced the 20 startups to the VOOM 2016 Semifinals. Rebrandly is extremely proud to announce that we are 1 of the 20!
It’s been a fun journey to arrive at this stage of the process. Last week, Davide De Guz, Rebrandly Founder and CEO, participated in Virgin Media Business’s Guinness World Record setting VOOM 2016 pitch competition, where 158 companies gave their three minute presentation back-to-back in front of a panel of judges over the course of a 28hr 51min period. Crazy right?
What Happens if we go to the Finals?
Of the 20 remaining startups in the VOOM 2016 Growth category, only 3 will be selected to move on to the Finals. These three finalists will have the opportunity to pitch in-front of Richard Branson himself! This would quite the experience, as Branson is a pioneer in the art of branding…which of course is something we at Rebrandly pride ourselves in.
In the official VOOM Press Release from today, you can get a little more insight as to what to expect: The top 20 businesses in each category will participate in competitive workshops on the 13th and 14th of June, where they will be put them through their paces to determine the feasibility, scalability and likelihood of success. The six businesses with the greatest potential will then be selected to pitch in the live finale in front of Richard Branson and his panel of expert judges; Tyra Banks, Sara Blakely, Marcus Butler and Peter Kelly.
